Bouraq is a neutral transfer channel. It installs nothing, opens no access and disables no control. As with any file movement, you are responsible for holding the permissions required for the content you transfer.

Straight questions, straight answers.

Does Bouraq weaken my environment's security controls?
No. Bouraq exploits no vulnerability and disables no control: it is an optical output channel, comparable to a document scanner or a USB stick you plug in yourself. Controlled environments exist for good reasons; Bouraq does not weaken them. Our terms only allow content you are authorised to move.
Do my files go through your servers?
Yes: the server rebuilds your files in your personal space. No end-to-end or at-rest encryption is claimed today: only transfer content you are authorised to move, and see our Security page.
What doesn't Bouraq do?
Bouraq does no two-way Git sync, generates neither code nor documents, provides no AI subscription and installs no agent on the source PC. It makes your files available; you carry on with your own tools.
Does the source PC need Internet access?
No. The encoder is a static HTML page opened in the browser. No outbound connection is required on the source PC.
What volumes are realistic?
Optical throughput depends on the screen and the camera. The most reliable way is to measure it yourself: create a space and transfer a real file, and you will have an order of magnitude within seconds.
